LCA

Our team is capable to plot Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to assess the environmental impacts of a product, process, or service throughout its entire life cycle. Depending on the requirement, we can factor in  everything from raw material extraction to manufacturing, use, and disposal or recycling. The goal of an LCA is to understand the overall environmental footprint of a product and identify areas where improvements can be made to reduce negative impacts on the environment.

Here are the key stages in an LCA:

Goal and Scope Definition

The purpose of the LCA is clarified, and the boundaries of the study are set (e.g., which life stages of the product are included, which environmental impacts are being assessed, etc.).

Inventory Analysis (LCI)

This stage involves collecting data on all inputs and outputs associated with the product's life cycle, including energy use, raw materials, emissions, and waste.

Impact Assessment (LCIA)

The data gathered in the inventory phase is used to assess the potential environmental impacts (e.g., global warming, resource depletion, acidification, etc.).

Interpretation

The results are analyzed to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and suggest improvements. This phase often leads to decision-making regarding changes to the product or process to reduce environmental impacts.

Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ)

Enhances the quality of indoor air and overall comfort for building occupants

Innovation (IN):

Rewards innovative building strategies and processes.

We can apply LCAs to a wide variety of products and services, ranging from everyday consumer goods to industrial processes. They are valuable tools for sustainability efforts and can help companies make informed choices to minimize environmental harm.
